In preparation for the Birthday Shinanigans about to unfold here at DeviantART, we want to ask you, the community to get your crafty scissors, gear up your imagination, and all the materials you can for this contest in preparation for celebrating DeviantART's 12th birthday! What we're asking of you is to make your OWN birthday hat to wear for DeviantART's birthday!

DeviantART'S 12th Birthday Gameshow: Starting soonDeviantART Birthday Gameshow is starting in just FIFTEEN MINUTES!
We're looking for game players to come and join in our deviantART Birthday Event! In just a short while ^3wyl and myself are hosting an interpretation of a British game show called Pointless. The idea of the game is that you have to guess the least popular answer to a multiple answers question. You will be awarded points accordingly, those with the most points will win - but you will have used pointless answers to get there!
We'll have pre-judged the least popular and most popular answers by asking a panel of CVs beforehand for their responses. Want an example?

Theme
The Western Horoscope is comprised of 12 signs. In this contest, using any visual media, you have to draw a representation of at least one of the Western Zodiac signs and create a daily horoscope for that sign set for the date of August 7th.

This contest will be open to all media, as long as it's correctly submitted into the deviantART Related gallery. This means you can create a deviantID, Deviant Stamp, Journal or Gallery skins/designs, and more with the theme Autumn.

This contest is all about supporting (RED), the cause known for fighting for an AIDS free generation by 2015.
The contest is split into three (3) categories: Deviant Stamps, Journal or Gallery Skins, and DeviantIDs. Each category will have one Major Prize winner.

Birthday Card Contest

deviantART is celebrating its 12th birthday on the 7th August and what better way to celebrate with a card from its awesome members?!
This is where you guys come in!

Make a card!

It is up to you to make a card celebrating dA's 12th birthday! You can use any medium for this, the more creative the better!
If you are into Artisan Crafts you could try your hand at papercutting, or add some little handmade charms to your card.

If you are into Traditional Art you could scratchboard a card, or try a collage or even mix the medias up a little.

If you are a Digital Artist you can design something amazing with your program of choice or utilize the Stock and Resources that dA supplies - just check the individual rules!
